From: Tim Schmidt
Founder, U.S. Concealed Carry
Dear USCCA Member,
You've got enough people trying to waste your time with things you don't really want or need.
I'm NOT one of those people.
I can't wait to tell you about the USCCA Inner Circle. But first, I need to ask you 6 important questions…
- Do you ever wonder what our Country will be like in 20 years?
- Will your kids or grandkids live in the same kind of America
that we do?
- Does it bother you to hear how the younger generations of Americans are more concerned with the "environment" than with defending their own families?
- Can you BELIEVE how much red tape is involved with running a business these days?
- Are you sick and tired of people over-promising and then
under-delivering?
- Isn't it amazing how hard it is these days to find good
"old-fashioned" customer service?
Yes, these are open-ended questions. I ask them only to give you a glimpse into the types of things that I think a LOT about.
Please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Tim Schmidt. You may know me as the publisher of Concealed Carry Magazine or as the founder of the USCCA.
Some insider info about… me!
Here's a little more about me…
I am a 37 year-old family-man, business-man, provider and protector. I have the Declaration of Independence framed and hanging on the wall in my living room.
I started my first business when I was 26 and sold it ten years later. I go to church with my family every Sunday. I pray every day, but I'm uncomfortable talking about religion.
As a husband and father, I believe it is my DUTY to provide and protect. I buy life insurance. I wear a seatbelt. I teach my kids how to shoot and how to respect firearms.
I worry what America will be like in 20 years.
You may or may not share some of these values, beliefs and concerns. But since you ARE a USCCA member, I'm going to bet that you and I agree on at least ONE thing.
It is OUR responsibility to protect our family and loved ones.
It's not the neighbor's responsibility, not the police, not the sheriff, certainly NOT the government.
The responsibility is ours and ours alone.
Let me take you back for a second…
I decided to start Concealed Carry Magazine and the USCCA back in the fall of 2003 because I wanted to create a national organization that would help promote the value and benefits of the armed citizen.
Heck, what I REALLY wanted was to educate people so I'd get fewer sideways glances and comments like, "Why do you need to carry a gun?"
The answer to this question was always a simple one, "I carry a gun for the same reason I wear a seatbelt… what IF?" But the question STILL drove me nuts!
A gun just wasn't enough...
However, I have to admit something to you. For me, carrying a gun just wasn't enough.
I've worked very hard over the years to build a strong family, and strong businesses. I just KNEW that having a gun with me wasn't ALWAYS going to solve my problems.
I knew that I needed a complete Personal Defense System. This system needed to have as MANY layers as possible. Not just a gun.
So I became a voracious reader and student. I read books on how to detect if an employee is stealing money from you. I read books on ground fighting. I began studying and training in Tae Kwon Do, Jiu-Jitsu and Hapkido.
I spent a lot of time and energy building up my own personal defense system.
And I have to tell you… It was (and still is) a fascinating, exciting and FUN process!
And all along the way, I kept thinking to myself, "I'll bet there are quite a few of my fellow USCCA members who would LOVE to get their hands on this type of information and knowledge."
Where am I going with this?
"Tim, there are NO free lunches..."
My Dad always told me, "Tim, there are NO free lunches." And I'm certainly not going to suggest that I can instantly transfer MY multi-layer personal defense system to you.
That would be ridiculous.
However, I DO have something that will allow YOU to add that NEXT LAYER of protection without spending the hundreds of hours of that I've spent.
You see, I have a picture of YOU in my mind's eye!
You and I probably have a few things in common. You're a "Type A" person. You don't screw around… you get things done. You're not satisfied with the status quo. You refuse to accept "good enough".
You don't have time to sit and spend hours sifting through mostly useless information.
You're a busy, no-nonsense… SHEEPDOG.
Yep, I created the USCCA Inner Circle for YOU!
Here's how this came to be.
During the past few years of running CCM and the USCCA, hundreds upon hundreds of fascinating articles have crossed my desk that just DIDN'T belong in the pages of Concealed Carry Magazine.
These are articles that had a TON of valuable and potentially life-saving information in them. Unfortunately however, these articles had absolutely nothing to do with carrying concealed handguns.
Here's what I'm talking about...
In fact, here are a few examples of exactly what I'm talking about…
- Here Are 17 Makeshift Weapons That Can Save Your Life.
- How to Best Handle Air Rage.
- A 6,000 Year-Old Chinese Secret To Help You Redefine Danger.
- How to Detect Surveillance and Avoid Planned Crimes.
- How Eye Contact and Eye Movements Are Your
Early Warning System.
- What To Do When You Don't Have a Weapon.
- How Breath Control and Relaxation Will Increase Your Chances of Survival During a Violent Encounter.
- Here is the Proper Way to Search A Room.
- What You Should (and Shouldn't) Do If You Are Ever
Taken Hostage.
Now to me, these types of articles always sounded interesting. Yet I knew that a majority of CCM readers would NOT want to see them or the hundreds more like them. (Plus our concealed carry advertisers would have left in droves!)
The good news is that I've kept ALL of these articles.
They're actually sitting in a giant box under a table in my office. They're sitting in the same box as my copies of the books Bribery and Extortion, Identity Change Insider Secrets, and The Most Effective and Easy to Learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Moves. (Plus a whole bunch more!)
Most of these articles are written buy every-day, ordinary Americans who have had EXTRAORDINARY life experiences. I'm talking about DEA agents, active duty cops, business owners, sheriffs' deputies, retired and active duty military and even an air marshal.
These articles are written by men and women who have seen a lot and for whatever reason… wanted to share it with me.
The even BETTER news is that I've decided to go public (well, sort-of, this is only being offered to USCCA members!) with all of this valuable information.
I've also decided to invest heavily into finding even MORE information like this. I am in the process of scouring ever corner of every contact I've made in the firearms and self-defense industry since I began publishing my magazine.
I'm personally leveraging my publishing resources to build the
deepest, private database of personal security information
that exists.
And now, for the best news of all... Since you are a USCCA member, I will share this information with YOU.
I have decided to publish a monthly audio and print package called the USCCA Inner Circle.
What exactly is included?
Your monthly, USCCA Inner Circle package will include…
 |
A 16-page, executive-style report. This report will include 10 to 15 fully-abridged articles delivering you the NUTS and BOLTS of topics such as home alarm systems, embezzlement detection, frivolous lawsuit avoidance, identity theft avoidance, bribery, extortion and even how to defeat a stronger, younger and faster opponent and a lot more. |
 |
Every single month, I'll be taking time out of my own busy schedule to do a one-on-one interview with an industry insider or expert. This may be one of Concealed Carry Magazine's very own writers or training experts. It could be a holster or gun manufacturer. I'll also be interviewing legal and business experts as well. You'll get this interview on a handy Compact Disc that you can play in your car or truck or in the comfort of your home. |
 |
You'll also receive a completely raw and unedited transcript of the one-on-one interview. This will make the perfect permanent reference in case you ever need to go back and look up a certain bit of information you heard on the Audio CD. |
 |
If you select the Ultimate Inner Circle membership, you'll have exclusive access to a monthly tele-seminar where you'll be able to listen-in to a private one-on-one phone call where I grill various industry experts. Plus you'll be able to submit questions to be answered by my monthly guest expert. |
 |
And finally, your Ultimate Inner Circle membership will get you my direct, private phone line. I'll have monthly call-in times where you'll have the opportunity to call and discuss anything you'd like with me. (The line will be operated on a first come-first served basis and will only be open for a few hours per month.) |
